　　SHANXI ZHONGYANG Iron and Steel CO. LTD.（Referred to as ZISCO hereafter）, which is located in northern suburb of ZHONGYANG County, LVLIANG City, SHANXI Province CHINA, was built up from October 1985. The company covers an area of more than 3,000 acres and has more than 10,000 employees. It is a state-level iron and steel enterprise, which integrates coal-mining, coal-washing, mining, ore-concentrating, iron-melting, steel-making, strip rolling and power generation. With annual output of 5 million tons of raw coal, 1.2 million tons of iron concentration powders, 1.5 million tons of coke, 3.6 million tons of iron, 3.6 million tons of steel and 3.6 million tons of final products, the company has total assets of 10 billion RMB and reaches annual production value of 12 billion RMB. It has won province-wide top 30 Industrial Enterprises and top 10 tax-payer enterprises for continuously 4 times in SHANXI province, and enjoys the honorable titles of “National Model Townish Enterprise” and “SHANXI Model Enterprise”. As well, Mr. Yuan Yuzhu, the board chairman of ZISCO, is awarded the honorable titles of “National Model Attendee of CHINA Special Social Democracy Career Construction” and “National Reform Top 10 Person”. He is also the representative of the 10th and the 11th National Congress of China.
    ZISCO fostered strong market competitive capacity, with aid of scientific and reasonable industrial composition, and increasing perfect industrial chain, convenient and rapid system, precise and effective management team and excellent economic and cultural environment.     High-speed wire, which is its main product, has enjoyed the honor of “SHANXI Famous Brand Product” and “National Inspection-free Product”. Sales network of the company has reached BEIJING, TIANJIN, HEBEI, SHANXI, SHAN’XI, GANSU, NINGXIA, MENGGU and other coastal provinces and cities.
    ZISCO started at a high level and has developed big span. Insisting on leading concept of scientific development, the company concentrated on improvement of industrial composition, which gives priority to coal and develops coal and power together. 120 tons converting furnace equipping with LF finery furnace was set up in 2009 after the company invested 2 billion RMB in order to build a variety steel base. They are trying to build into a distinctive civilian-run iron and steel enterprise with comprehensive use of water, gas and slag, and circulated reborn of coal, power and steel, which is also resource-saved, environmental-friendly, technological products type and social charity type.

Coking Plant of ZISCO　The plant has a coal washing line with annual output of 3 million tons, and coking ovens with annual cokes output of 1.5 million tons whose main part is two 45-hole JN60-6 type and two 45-hole JN43-98 type coking ovens. This kind of coking oven reaches automatic interlock control with countrywide advanced process of “storage wash and preparation, coke oven gas heating, sealed melting and machine coke pushing”. Daily consumption of head coal is more than 6 thousands tons and main chemical and industrial products are coke, coke tar, coke gas, coarse benzene and ammonium sulfide etc.

Iron Making Plant of ZISCO　It mainly consists of two 405m3 and two 1180m3 blaster furnaces, and two 200m2 sintering machines and three 8 m3 vertical furnaces system, equipping with TRT power generation and fully automatic control of PLC HI-Tech technology. Annual molten iron output is 3.6 million tons.

Oxygen Plant of ZISCO　It is comprise of six units among which there is one 20000m3/h, two 6000m3/h, one 4500m3/h and two 1500m3/h oxygen producer, International advanced DCS system control was used and oxygen gas output is up to 40 thousands m3 per hour。

Steel-making Plant of ZISCO　It is mainly made up three 80T oxygen top-blown converters, one four-part machine and one four-flow square blank continuous casting machines, and two one-part machines and one-flow slab continuous casting machine. Annual steel output is 3.6 million tons. Square blanks and slabs are main products which all meet the international standards.

Rolling Mill of ZISCO　It mainly consists of three high-speed wire lines respectively with annual output of 400, 600 and 800 thousands tons, and bar lines with annual output of 400 thousands tons, and one coil strip rolling line with annual output of 1.6 million tons etc. Annual total steel rolling capacity is 3.6 million tons, and products include 5 catalogs and more than 240 sub- catalogs. All rolling line systems with PLC fully automatic control enjoy the first-class level in the same countrywide sector due to its accurate design, advanced technology, special process, automatic banding, big production capacity, energy-saved and environmental-protection.
